09 Family of the Year
Congratulations to the Bono Family on their selection to the Family of The Year for Middleburg Martial Arts Studio. They had been selected for their strong Tang Soo Spirit which consists of volunteerism, hard work, socializing, and participation. In addition, Mara and Anne will be testing for black belt in May. Also Mara has been on honor roll student at the Oakleaf Village Elementary. Also, Anne has also been volunteering with the Parents Group. Young Strider is a Student at Oakleaf Village Elementary, has been with us since he was in tiny tigers and will be testing for his green belt this month. As you can see this family has been very busy for the past several years and that constitute for family of the year selection.

09 Student of the Year
Also a special thanks to Mr. Cullen for being named Student of the Year. Cullen is a Cho Dan Bo who works hard, listens very well, is an honor roll at Middleburg Elementary and sets the example for all to follow.

Middleburg Martial Arts is proud to announce the recent promotions of their students, Gwen Blanchett, Casey Rankin and Cory Tennant, who were presented the rank of Black Belt at the annual Christmas party on December 20th.

They have trained for several years and tested in November to reach their goal of Black Belt.Ms. Casey Rankin is an honor roll student at Middleburg High School, who also is a member of the Middleburg High Band. Her younger sister, Tristin, also trains at Middleburg Martial Arts and was promoted to Black Belt candidate.
Ms. Gwen Blanchett is a straight A honor roll student who attends Wilkinson Junior High, a member of the Junior National Honor Society and the academic team.
Mr. Cory Tennantis an honor roll student at Middleburg High, who also is an active baseball player.
