Great News!
I did a
quick survey yesterday of the grades our students in the After School
program received this past report card quarter. They were amazing! Out
of the 31 kids who were in the room when I did the survey 11 had
straight A's, 14 had A/B honor roll, and 6 had A/B/C's. Our
grades as a whole were much higher than the norm. I think in the public
schools, the average is somewhere around 3-5% straight A's, and 25-30%
usually for A/B honor roll. So your children are really doing great
with their focus and concentration. It's working very well.
We haven't
checked all the students yet as we haven't received all the report
cards but usually our karate kids who are not in the After School
program measure up very well also.
Please send
in a copy of your child's report card as we reinforce the great grades
with a karate buck and an award from the Grandmaster. Also, we track
grades to make sure they keep their grades up or improve, if it is
needed. To get your Black Belt, you need a “B”
average. Also to be in our Leadership Club you need at least a
“B” average.
Pat these children on
the back. Most of them have done an excellent job!
Also, I
love to hear the positive stories of children whose grades have
improved after they joined our studio, so please keep sending them.
