COPPERGATE AND MIDDLEBURG HIGH STUDENTS EARN FIRST BELTS AT

On Monday, February 9th, Middleburg Martial Arts welcomed students from Coppergate Elementary and Middleburg High School to their first belt graduation. The students were taught Tang Soo Do, a Korean martial arts, during their physical education classes by Ms. Jan Lappin, 3rd degree Black Belt.
The training went beyond the physical aspect and had an overall impact on their lives. Parents stated that they had seen improvements including better grades. The students learned new skills, including how to protect themselves, control their actions and use words rather than physical force.
Family members were on hand to share in this special moment that their children had worked to achieve. Everyone was treated to a special demonstration by Middleburg Martial Arts Black Belts featuring breaking and weapon techniques.
