THEME OF THE MONTH
WE will be focusing on Effort this month as well as talking about some Summer safety tips.

A Big Hi, Hip, Hooray for Melissa Garalde! Melissa has been training supper hard and is a HUGE help to everyone. These are just a few of the many reasons Melissa was chosen as Student of the Month! Way to GO!
AMP Student of the Month
AMP does not have a Student of the Month for July or August. Keep watching for Septembers Student of the Month from our AMP program.
Summer Uniforms
Just a reminder that Summer uniforms are a privilege and we must were them properly to continue. Our goal is to maintain tradition and to always look like professional martial artists. Shirts MUST be a Middleburg Martial Arts logo T and they MUST be tucked into the dobahk pants. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Buddy Day
Here is your chance to share Karate with your friends. Bring your friend with a parent or a signed permission slip to class on 7/7 or 7/8 and you both will get to do lighted swords. You will also get a raffle ticket for the $100! Permission slips are available at the front counter we will also send a copy in an e-mail for you.
Featured Item
This month we will be featuring our sparring gear. This would be a perfect opportunity to replace old or outgrown gear. Sparring gear will be 10% off in July. Masters club can get red and Leaders club is able to choose their color.
Special Days!
We will be having some SURPRISE Days this summer. You won’t know what days so don’t miss a class. On these special days you might get ice cream or a popsicle, prizes, games or you might even get to participate in CLUB! These will be surprise so make sure you attend your class.
CLUB THEME
All club members will be working on breaking or staffs on Mondays and Tuesdays and sparring on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Leaders will get to work with Ms. Stephanie on the 2nd at contact sparring. Please bring your chest protector. Rolls and Falls is what the Masters club will be working on with Master Lappin on the 30th. Please make sure you bring your proper gear and weapons.
Summer Attendance
We will be giving out special Patches at the Promotion Party in September for those who have perfect attendance this summer. Perfect attendance consists of 2 classes per week for the entire 9 weeks of summer. Please make sure you make up any classes that you miss so you can qualify for this achievement. We will not be having classes on the 15th and 17th of July, you are more than welcome to make up these classes. If you need to know when a different class is available please feel free to ask.
After School Program
It seems that the summer has just begun but we are already starting to take registration for the 2010-2011 school year in our After School Program. This is designed as an alternative to daycare and your child will get their Karate classes while they are here also. We pick up from most of the local elementary schools and if your child is registered before the end of July (7/31), and you are a new AMP student you can get 50% off of your registration fee.

PARENTS CLUB NEWS
The Parents Club will meet on 7/6 @ 7Pm. We will be making the final decisions on our Family Game/Movie night.
-We will be having a movie/game night on July 10th. Advanced tickets are $3 per person. You can pay that night for $4 per person. There will be drinks and snacks available for purchase.
- Our next Wal-mart demo/fundraiser has been canceled due to the heat. Our next one will be on August 21st from 9:30AM until 1:30PM. The sign-up sheet is located on the Parents Club bulletin board.
-We still need a few more orders for DECALS before I can place the order. Order forms are hanging on our bulletin board.
Referral Contest
We only need 2 more friends to sign up before we do our drawing for the $100. Thanks to all of you for growing our martial arts family.
